World consumer rights day is celebrated on the 15th of March every year with an aim to celebrate the power of consumers and remember their rights & needs. It is a day to spread awareness in society to avoid any unfair practices against the consumers. This Day was inspired by the 35th President of the United States, John F Kennedy, who sent a special message to the US Congress on 15th of March 1962, formally addressing the issue of consumer rights.
